Malaria in Cote d’Ivoire

During my photo trip in Cote d’Ivoire in December 2014 for the Global Fund, I had the chance to work with a videographer, Edward Bally, who was hired by UNICEF to cover the efforts of the partnership between the two organizations and the mass distribution of 11 million insecticide treated mosquito nets for malaria prevention.

While I was mainly focusing on photography, I did also provide support to Edward as a second camera for interviews and some b-roll. This is a lovely piece which greatly illustrates the story of one family who has been affected by malaria and is now benefiting from a free net to sleep under.
