david_odwyer_portraitMy inspiration comes from the diversity of my clients and the variety of their needs. From editing a documentary or producing a music video, to animating an infographic. From capturing the joy of a wedding to the impact of a development program in a small hospital in West Africa. Through these different projects, I always try to push past the clichés and look beyond the expectations of my clients and audience, to deliver something that they will not only love, but will also remember.

Part of my work has been in the humanitarian sector in Geneva, Switzerland. My clients have included The Global Fund, OCHA, The World Health Organization, Africa Progress Panel, amongst others. I found my experience with each one to be extremely rewarding. My work has not only featured in numerous magazines and papers but also on less traditional media, such as the Timesquare Nasdaq screen, and New York taxi screens.

I constantly look to push the technical boundaries of photography, videography, editing and animation with the incredible tools available today.

  1. Hiya, I’m a Director at Manta Ray Media – a web company that works with Global Health organisations like the Global Fund. Infact we recently created some e-Learning for them on malaria, HIV/AIDS and TB. Anyway, I’m currently looking for some high impact images to use on the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine website home page and I came across your amazing photographs on Flickr from your trip to Cote d’Ivoire and I was wondering what the terms of use are / how / if we can use your images??????

    Please let us know.

    All the best,
